Do you really believe that if you redefine censorship to not include punishing people for saying things you don’t like you are suddenly free of the sin of censorship? I guess that is the logical conclusion of the thought police mindset. If tactics and values collide redefine the words you use so that now your tactics are acceptable.
I happen to agree with you that she is being censored, but I do not think censorship is always bad. You say everyone else has turned it into a different meaning, but then you're trying to state that you're pretty much against any repercussions and I do not agree. There are repercussions for things we say and do every day, and this person showed absolutely no sense when she decided to say something rude. I'm sorry, but this is on her head unless a case can be made that she had no idea an Olympics committee would take offense.
