If Greek athlete had tweeted a joke that exact same joke but it was about a group that it was OK to not like, say Israel, then she would have been chastised at worst. The fact that she was punished so harshly for a joke that she immediately apologized is trouble some. They had other actions they could have taken but chose the harshest option available to them.
