You don't mind judicial activism and legislation from the bench, unless it affects an issue that you care about in what you perceive to be a negative way, then you do care because that's wrong! Or something.

Either way, it's hypocrisy.


So by this formulation, if you're for legislative solutions to these issues, whatever the legislature passes, you need to agree with, otherwise you're a hypocrite?

I think courts should be active in safeguarding the rights and interests not included in ancient texts that couldn't fathom what society would be 200 years from their time.

That doesn't mean I'm obliged to like every decision a court makes.
