I clearly stated that I don’t object to Connecticut gun laws that were enacted in response to Sandy Hook. They are stricter than the majority of the country, yet we still have gun related crimes.

The simple fact is gun restrictions have to be passed at a state or local level to pass Constitutional muster but there are still limits. NYC tried to limit capacity to 6 rounds but the courts said, no the state limit of 10 is the most we will allow. Like my state. DC had a handgun ownership ban that the court threw out.

So all I am saying is let’s talk about what can be done like adults.

Or we can keep on with the divisive rhetoric.
