The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. That’s how it is. The only way to change that is via passing an amendment. There literally is no other way.

I’ve tried really hard to be reasonable in all this post. Yes I’m a gun owner but I don’t think we are doing enough to stop all gun violence, especially the innocent people killed every day by stray bullets from gun battles.

Do you have specifics around your compromise legislation? I would be happy to discuss that.
