Gawyn didn't accept Bryne's advice at all. Read it again. Also, Elayne and Egwene do NOT have firsthand information. Neither one of them ever even saw Rahvin/Gaebril, and neither one of them have seen Morgase, either. Gawyn has already had the opportunity to believe Egwene, and he did not.
