It seems likely that Morgase will make it back to Andor before Gawyn does. Therefore, he'll only have proof that Rand didn't kill her.

I also can't see him in Caemlyn and not having Elayne talk him out of it as well, possibly getting an even stronger promise out of him not to harm the father of her children.
