I have a theory on the killer that doesn't involve Slayer... FanEditor10 Send a noteboard - 28/05/2010 03:41:23 AM
But, God, not another Asmo thread!

PS. at least it is a thread, and I like the breakdown. I shouldn't say anything, as I've done nothing but comment on other peoples threads.

I think Slayer is a bad, grasping-at-straws kind of answer to this question.

I think the killer was Shaiar Haran. It may have been an early appearance, and it would fit for a myrddraal, dark hallway, sudden appearances in shadow and all. The "You, NO!" would, if this theory is correct, be because Haran represents the Dark One himself. Who better to send as an assassin? And myrddraal have their own kind of magic that isn't the OP.

The only problem with this theory; I cant remember - timeline-wise - whether this is simply too soon before Haran is introduced to us to be plausible, or if Haran is already around at this point (which I doubt because i don't think anyone posted that yet).

Any thoughts?
