But there are actually no clues regarding Graendal in the first 4 books, since Graendal isn't even really mentioned there.


There are plenty of clues in TFoH that she was involved. We've been over this a number of times so I'll not rewrite them again. The problem isn't Graendal's viability, it's Slayer's!

If he makes no appearance and is not mentioned in the book RJ points to as having clues to the killer I don't see how he could be the killer!
