If a woman sits at 50, then why does it take six to hold a man like Rand, and how can he break through 4. Are we to believe that a 100 man can break through a 200 shield? This system is utter crap if that's true, because no text supports it.
It takes six to hold Rand because it is tougher for women to shield men. When it drops from six to four, there are fewer women holding Rand, so he is able to break free.
And why do you think a hundred man cannot break through a 200 shield from women? What is in the text to oppose this? The text actually supports this. Logain nearly broke out with five women holding him.

Like the fact that one Ash'aman was enough to hold one Aes Sedai at Dumai Wells. Why did the women not break through? Same with all the AS who Logain captured when they invaded the BT. How did Lanfear hold Rand alone in the Stone if Rand can break through a shield of 200?
I'm not averse to difficulties in cross-gender shielding, but I dispute the levels you suggest. A weaker channeler can hold a woman. At worst, a woman needs more or most of her strength to hold an equally powered man. There's no way a man can break through twice his own strength in saidar. That's disputed by several examples.
