I think I understand. I'm relieved to see that I didn't misinterpret the idea behind the structure of the multiverse of WoT.

I tend to agree with your predictions of the 'Finns, btw... Idealistically, at least. However, it doesn't fit with Moiraine's letter: specifically, the danger Mat and co. are in. If the 'Finns want to do something to stop the destruction of the Pattern, using Mat as proxy (or open a gateway to this world, etc.), why would he be in any danger at all? Why would it matter if too few or too many came? I definitely think we are in for a surprise or two when Mat infiltrates the ToG.

Either way, thanks for clearing up the apparent discontinuity between Verin and RJ.
