I just like how some people in this thread have used the fact that Lanfear ALMOST shielded Rand as proof that she clearly could shield him. That is an impressive example of using evidence to prove your pre-concieved idea, rather than the other way around.


Yeah. I find this funny too. It's like claiming "I've been in Paris" because "I almost got to the plane the other day". :)



seriously you have to ask yourself this one question. Had he not sliced the flows he would have been cut off. The fact that he was able to slice her flows speaks to the fact that he was skilled enough to avoid it for a time, not that Lanfear was not strong enough to shield him.

There is a difference if you think about it.
