Ramshalan knew Nynaeve was with Rand and basically sat there listening to Rand's plan before he strolled into Graendal's lair... I don't know why people think this is so implausible. We know Graendal would have interrogated him in her Basene disguise and gleaned more information that he even realized he knew.

The leap in logic here is really regarding Graendal having a female channeler at hand to play it out. Which is the big reason for me to be skeptical about this scenario. I don't rule it out as it was the first thing that popped into my head when I started thinking about possible ways Graendal could have escaped.
