Therefore, also the idea that Aran'gar and Delana would suddenly live in Graendal's palace is completely unsupported and unlikely (IMO, even absurd) speculation.

BS can answer plot points in other ways than bringing a character back in such a scene before the death. That would at least fit with the way the series is written.


There is plenty of indication that Aran'gar and Graendal have begun a more robust partnership than simply exchanging information! Aran'gar had all kinds of plans on how to utilize Graendal's contacts and is in the midst of re-establishing her base now that she's not with the Rebels. Graendal mentioned again in TGS that their association was "official" so clearly they have plans.


Graendal precisely just mentions that Aran'gar gives her informations. There is no further cooperation known to us. And it's even quite unlikely that both would trust each other than much. Remember that even Demandred, Semirhage and Mesaana don't work that closely together. And Aran'gar doesn't even know where Graendal's lair is.

Probably Aran'gar will just manage to take over Graendal's network eventually, after her death.


It always seemed to me that the two of them were looking to unbalance the trio. Aran'gar not knowing where Graendal was at the begining of TGS doesn't mean that in the ensuing 2 months prior to Rand's BF that information didn't come out. You make it sound like their alliance was one conversation and the next day Graendal died. Ignoring that there are months of activity between them agreeing to working together and assuming they did nothing but have a couple of TAR meetings to exchange info that Graendal likely gathered is silly. What was in it for Graendal when she is by FAR more well informed? Why give Aran'gar intelligence in exchange for nothing?
