Dead. Great Lord of Chaos Send a noteboard - 02/11/2009 04:22:48 AM
The last thing we need is another Forsaken popping up to screw with us for the last two books. The situation is already complex, we don't need it impossible to follow. We bring her back, she establishes another station of power, and we'd have to go through the entire routine again. A waste of chapters, if I may say so myself.

I think it's fair to say at this point that Graendal did not kill Asmodean. - 02/11/2009 04:36:37 AM 879 Views

She is dead - 09/11/2009 01:37:03 AM 709 Views
That's pretty terrible logic - 19/11/2009 05:58:57 AM 846 Views
I disagree. - 02/11/2009 10:29:21 PM 710 Views

Dead. - 02/11/2009 06:46:10 AM 709 Views
Dead as Dumbledore. But why does it preclude her from being Asmo's killer? - 02/11/2009 07:04:08 AM 797 Views
Right. That info could easily be revealed through the POV of another. *NM* - 02/11/2009 02:15:31 PM 352 Views
It could but... - 02/11/2009 03:14:23 PM 794 Views
Moridin would most likely know. - 02/11/2009 04:06:04 PM 706 Views
Well.... - 02/11/2009 08:52:52 AM 764 Views

Alive until proven otherwise IMO *spoilers* - 02/11/2009 03:47:51 PM 783 Views
That weave was very complex. - 02/11/2009 10:34:36 PM 701 Views
Actually, the one that Rand had Nynaeve study earlier was more complex. - 04/11/2009 05:11:07 PM 785 Views
But you can't reverse Compulsion by unraveling it, right? - 18/11/2009 10:48:08 PM 726 Views
Almost certainly dead - 02/11/2009 04:48:18 PM 877 Views
Yeah. Compared to, say, Sammael's "death" - 02/11/2009 10:40:01 PM 784 Views
Not even almost. Graendal and Sammael now both go well with eggs. *NM* - 03/11/2009 01:51:15 AM 374 Views
Oh, I agree, but fiction, deus ex machina, etc - 04/11/2009 09:58:42 PM 717 Views
Graendal is dead. the evidence is pretty hard - 03/11/2009 08:00:27 PM 3047 Views
Well, unlike everyone else, - 04/11/2009 01:34:57 AM 711 Views
Alive. It's the simplest answer for me, especially considering that Rand knew she was more cunning - 04/11/2009 05:03:38 PM 878 Views
Re: Balefire. - 04/11/2009 05:30:12 PM 715 Views
Not necessarily. - 04/11/2009 06:08:34 PM 685 Views
The thing is... - 04/11/2009 06:25:43 PM 763 Views
Here's the rub - she had no desire to come into contact with Rand. - 04/11/2009 10:30:05 PM 938 Views
Hm. Possible. - 04/11/2009 06:42:12 PM 1005 Views
I think it's the most simple possibility. - 04/11/2009 10:39:02 PM 715 Views
Re: I think it's the most simple possibility. - 09/11/2009 01:51:52 AM 649 Views
That's just absurd - 04/11/2009 10:48:30 PM 799 Views
No, I'm making it more simple. - 04/11/2009 11:11:36 PM 735 Views
That thoery doesn't account for the undoing of the Compulsion - 04/11/2009 11:50:06 PM 754 Views
Yes, it does. Distance causes maintained weaves and Links to attenuate. - 05/11/2009 04:22:37 PM 772 Views
Yes, but Compulsion is almost never a maintained weave *NM* - 06/11/2009 07:19:24 PM 400 Views
But the real question in my mind... - 02/12/2009 08:28:31 PM 714 Views
Well - 06/12/2009 08:45:12 PM 1156 Views
Odds are she's dead - 06/12/2009 08:48:19 PM 595 Views
