Rahvin and Sammael had control of vastly more powerful nations, and this did not seem to earn them any special rewards.
I don't know - if Demandred has been spending all of his time putting order to Murandy, I just don't think his time would have been as well spent as it would have been if he brought the Seanchan from across the ocean, the Ayyad from across the continent or untold legions from unknown parts of the world.

Who are just as likely to flip to the light if forced to fight next to Trollocs and Fades?
Seems like the more human armies you marshal the more you increase the odds that your enemies will have armed and trained soldiers.
I think if Demandred is working with human armies someplace, he's likely doing it to destabilize an area or at least set it up to be in a really bad spot when the real armies of the Shadow appear.
