I just wonder how Graendal was at all effective in the War of Power if all it takes is to Delve someone to find the weaves of Compulsion. Not inverted either, right?

Once she was known to have a reputation for Compulsion, I would have imagined that the Light would have started checking on people or devising some way to counter her.

Apparently all it takes is a good healer to Delve and all her skill is thrown out the window.


Someone like Nynaeve. They may be relatively rare, requiring exceptional Strength and a strong Talent for Healing/Delving.
