One minute Rand is speaking to Nynaeve in TAR, the next time we see Rand he's back in the waking world. We don't see him leave TAR in a different physical space than where he entered.


Plus,when Ishy was killed in the flesh in the end of TDR, his corpse was in the Real World where he was killed in TAR; also Rand left TAR to the point in the Real World where he was in TAR before.
