I really liked how they showed Hermione wiping her parents' memories in the movie. That was a really touching moment that emphasized the sacrifice she made, which I think really gets skipped over in the book unless you stop and think about it though. That's typical Hermione though, carrying a huge burden without saying a word about it. Ron and Harry really would have been screwed in this book without her. She's a champ.

She was awesome. When she tells Harry that they'll wear the locket in turns (in the movie) and then turns to walk away, it really struck me how grown up she is. It just occurred to me that in the later books, she is what RJ wants his women to be like but could rarely write correctly.
