And I feel like a new member wandering in looking for spec fic, like we're trying to put in the keywords, would be put off by wandering onto the SFF board and finding an ongoing discussion of a "traditional" work of literature.

I don't think Tom is saying we should only discuss OL books. What he's saying is that we shouldn't be so anti the idea, as some seem to be.

I'd really like to be able to include everything, non fiction too.


I'm not anti-including everything (strange phrase, that), but I do think it could possibly wait until the site is big enough to support separate boards for other literature. Although I do think that having both options at once is a good compromise. I like that plan. :)
