But, in the interest of providing a starting point, I think the way we went has worked out just fine.

In all the many different approaches we took at wotmania, everything eventually returned to that 10% participation level. That was the truly frustrating thing, especially as those people who participated would just as likely have read a better or more interesting selection rather than the mass voted on one.

Even after all this time, I believe that the Book Club is inherently a good idea. That's the reason that we persist in this. (Probably goes back to that definition of insanity)
