I'm not sure it will be very helpful to you though, sorry.
HEY! ' /> I am NOT a wretch....
I seem to have been following more of an informal weight GAIN plan since arriving here. It is motivating me to start a little more basic exercise, not so much to lose weight as to turn the added mass into muscle instead of wasted space.
To the extent I've been doing it at all, not really; end of last week.
Intermittently.
Not really; you clearly already know the importance of consistency; if you're not significantly less shapely than you'd like kicking up the activity level and sticking with it ought to be enough.
I respond badly to guilt trips, and motivating me with food seems counterproductive, but thanks, and good luck and God bless with your new regimen.
As in, I need you to support me, not that I'm going to support you. Lazy wenches.
HEY! ' /> I am NOT a wretch....
Anyway, while I'm not obese by any stretch of the imagination, I have gotten a bit roundier than I would have preferred. I will be dieting and exercising (bought a wii fit to get started!), and I figure that the more people I tell, the more embarrassed I'll be if I mess up. Also, I thought that if anyone else is in the midst of getting in shape, it could be fun to share stories.
For the record, I'm doing sort of a South Beachy plan (only good carbs, good proteins, good fats, lots of veg) and counting calories on livestrong.com. Also wiiing, obviously. Maybe playing camogie again.
I have some questions.
1. Are you currently following any kind of weight loss/fitness plan?

2. If so, have you been doing this for a while?

3. How's that working for ya?
Intermittently.
4. Have any advice? (If you're Tom, you don't need to tell me that I should just run and eat what I want within reason. I apparently have a special kind of chub that is impervious to this plan.)
Not really; you clearly already know the importance of consistency; if you're not significantly less shapely than you'd like kicking up the activity level and sticking with it ought to be enough.
5. Would you like to be supported in this endeavor? I've got an excellent guilt-trip.
