How do you know your attitudes would have been that same if you had just been engaged and not married? Also how long have you been married? Newlyweds are not really the same as old married couples. Every couple is different but I find the idea that being married for a few years without having your relationship change odd;)


We've been married four years this June, so I'm not sure we still qualify as "newlyweds." Our relationship has become more friendly and less passionate, and I think that's the only way in which it's changed... and I think that happens to everyone, married or no. ;)
The only reason I bring it up is because a lot of people have stated that marriage changes your relationship for good; for us, it just involved holding a certificate stating we were legally bound.
