I do object to affirmative action for a number of reasons but what I was referring to here is that the school is trying to help a group that doesn't need help because LGBT are the cause celeb these days, look at how popular shows like GLEE are. While I support programs that help the disadvantaged in theory the poor logic used by the people to implement it typically means I don't support it in practice. This is a university for Pete's sake someone there should be capable of critical thinking and not just go with what feels good.
