As far as conspiracies go ... Nate Send a noteboard - 20/09/2011 03:36:35 PM
The only problem I have with the "official" story is that it takes a lot of coincidences to make it work, just like the ones you listed. Is it impossible? No. But it just feels...dirty to me. The buildings collapsed just like a controlled demolition. But I do concede that all these odd coincidences are possible. I'm not as nutty as this conspiracy nut that I talked to last week. He claimed that the hijackers, and even Osama Bin Laden, were on the CIA payroll. People like to think that he government is capable of anything but that's pushing it!

... I think it's much more likely (but still not very) that bin Laden was paid/encouraged by the US government than the idea that the US got their own people to do all these things, including setting up explosives on the towers to demolish them, and not one single person out of the dozens and dozens who would have had to be involved has said a single peep about it in ten years. It would be impossible to keep something like that quiet, and anyone concocting a giant conspiracy master plan would not hinge it on the inexplicable silence of everyone involved.

Um. Well, sure, that would be true. If you ignored all the evidence. - 20/09/2011 05:45:23 PM 738 Views
