That's a particular definition of racism that is popular right now in academia because it allows certain groups to remain the victims and others to remain the oppressors despite the societal changes that have taken place. You're basically reverse-engineering the definition to fit a desired dynamic. As society continues to evolve, I'm quite certain the definition of racism will also continue to evolve in order to keep Whitey firmly in the villain's seat.
