ISIS is collapsing. Their "capital" of Raqqa in Syria is the only urban area of any consequence that they still control (unless you count a few blocks in Mosul). The last thing we need to do is waste US lives fighting them in the Syrian desert. No boots are needed on the ground at this point that aren't already there.

What we DO need to do is make sure we don't let any of them back to the US, regardless of whether they're citizens, green card holders, on visas or coming in illegally. I heard the phrase "extreme vetting" from President Trump when he was campaigning, and we certainly need to do that. We need to shut down foreign funds that preach intolerance and specifically target Salafists. The enemy is ideological, not military.
