Science certainly doesn't support any such notion, so given the absence of anything approaching secular agreement on when life begins, why should the entire country follow the beliefs of one religious group?

We the US, we are a big country with 50 different states, and 7410 State Legislators before other positions like Governor and Attorney General. That is a lot of people and some of them are "nuts"
