you have a situation where you admit that you're not familiar with the source material, then there's an article written by someone unfamiliar with the source material, and people who are familiar with the source material say that the article is garbage and... your conclusion is "I can imagine it to be true". This is when we laugh.


The review was not written by a person unfamiliar with the source material. From what I read he had read the book and seen the movie.
