Siuan had the roughest treatment of any female character in this story; as comedic as it is imagining the former most powerful female ruler in the world washing socks, the lack of respect and authority she commanded once losing her strength and the stole after Stilling went a long way towards my position that the Aes Sedai are flawed and need to be destroyed for their own good.

RJ took some time earlier in the series conveying that despite her great strength in the Power compared to other Sisters, it was also a matter of her personality that enabled Siuan to exercise such authority. When her strength was lost and all she was left with was experience that could now only be used circumspectly, it really drove home how backwards the organization is - basically the most capable leaders are not able to enter positions of authority because of the politics that we are constantly told are flawed but work.

I understand that she is in love, but I just don't like her character arc - it's played way too much for me to take her seriously.
