Jordan knew this forward and back. With a surprisingly few exceptions (given the size and depth of the WoT), he knew what to answer, what to RAFO, and how to answer questions like a true Aes Sedai.
Brandon has to go to "the files" (RJ's personal WoT encyclopedia, Maria) fairly often, he has to punt questions, he has to use a lot of "I may be wrong here" phrases. I don't doubt BS' commitment to the series, or his quality as a writer (TGS is my first exposure to him, but I have faith). Yet I seriously doubt whether any of us should be reading so deeply into his answers like we could with RJ.
It may sound a little absurd to say that a writer can't provide solid answers on the book he just finished writing, but we gotta take BS as his own person...
