What is the reason Delana is with Graendal? Artsapat Send a noteboard - 13/07/2010 09:31:36 AM
I thought that Delana would stay with Aran'gar and I doubt Aran'gar would go to Graendal after fleeing the SAS camp. But i suppose any other Channeler would do for your idea.

The biggest problem I would have with your theory is the apparent intricacy of the Compulsion that is present. I would not think an Aes Sedai would be able to have learned in the past few months to be as good as Graendal is.

Another problem would be that Graendal would have to know she was going to be Balefired. Otherwise it makes no sense to use another person to use Compulsion. It would only put an extremely useful ally in the hands of another DF.

The only other way this could have happened if Graendal always had somebody else do her Compulsion for her, in case she was going to be Balefired, or if Graendal was not in the castle and an AS she had appointed just took matters in her own hand.

It is possible, but I think it's unlikely. The first one since there is no way Graendal would suspect Balefire, the second one, since Graendal would not leave that much power in a proxy unchecked.

I do like the idea though. It would be awesome to see her back again when everybody thinks she's dead and Graendal should go out with a bigger bang. Or at least a puff of lace.

No, I think Graendal is the slightly toasted outside of a Sammael Sandwich.
The mystery deepens... I think. *MySmiley*
