Such a flashback device with a dead character never happened in the books before. It's the same as stating that it is likely that Semirhage, Elza, the BA in Caemlyn or any other dead characters will yet get a revealing scene in ToM where they chat about something. Completely absurd and also contrary to what BS said on this topic.
If there will be more info about Graendal it will come in the PoV from other characters, like fellow Forsaken or SH (or BS will reveal in in a Q&A). That is the way it is always done in the series, if a character died, and just makes the most sense.
