so it's not possible for anything that has never been done in the series to happen... ok

I argue that this Graendal flashback theory is ridiculous if she died in TGS, because something like this never happened in the series (namely that a dead character got a flashback in the next book; other characters just think about the dead character). No one argued this after Sammael's or Osan'gar's death, because it's obviously absurd. Graendal would have gotten another PoV in TGS if it were needed. Apparently a few people just think it will be differently in Graendal's case, because RJ said that Asmo's killer will most likely reveal it in his or her PoV.
Believe as you like, I'm not going to make this a debate about who killed Asmodean. Regardless of that issue, there is nothing in BSand's quote saying there will be NO flashbacks, only that Rand is up to date as is Egwene. Graendal was involved with several plot lines and any of those could easily be behind Rand/Egwene in ToM. Aran'gar has not been heard from at the very least.

Graendal is part of several plot lines. Aran'gar at the very least is unseen in TGS, but involved

Again, there is no sensible reason for a scene where Graendal is shown again before her death. *NM*
