Ramshalan knew Nynaeve was with Rand and basically sat there listening to Rand's plan before he strolled into Graendal's lair... I don't know why people think this is so implausible. We know Graendal would have interrogated him in her Basene disguise and gleaned more information that he even realized he knew.


That is not accurate. Rand was not telling that he would check for Compulsion and balefire the f..k out of the whole palace.


Really? He sat there and asked Ramshalan how would he outsmart an opponent who was way smarter. Then dropped him right on Graendal's doorstep. Graendal is smart enough to know she's in trouble if Rand is dropping an "emissary" off at her supposedly secret lair.
