If Amys is just half as strong as Egwene, then Silviana must be weaker, no? And Barasine would be even weaker than that. Then there should be no way in hell either Barasine or Silviana should singly be able to hold a shield on Egwene. She should be able to laugh their shield off. But she isn't able to, from KoD to tGS. She doesn't even think its worth a try.

Your entire theory seems to rest on Aviendha's assessment. Which seems absurd to me, given how much else, especially RJ's own statements, contradicts what she says.
