It also seems like Chesmal can hold Elayne indefinitely. Elayne does struggle to grab the Source while pregnant, but it does reinforce that one woman can hold Elayne/Egwene strength, whereas the BA link to hold Nynaeve from the beginning.

Elayne isn't as strong as Egwene. Added to that, Chesmal was clearly successful only because Elayne was tired from the Healing. Otherwise, no matter Elayne's strength, the fact that she had an angreal would mean that there is no way that Chesmal can hold the shield on Elayne.
