How does her dream show any such thing? It shows Rand breaking Selas and dooming the world. Egwene's reaction isn't even in it!
Ok, now I'll have to check the book when I get it back, but as I recall it wasn't dooming the world, just something terrible happening. The DO being as free as during tWoP is certainly terrible, but also necessary to repair its prison.
I admit I'm looking at this from a readers point of view, rather than Egwenes. But Egwene would have the world do what the WT has tried to do for 3000 years, try to desprately hold the current situation. And where's that got them? a constant decline for 3000 years.


Just that it happens. Its other stuff that hints at the results...

If the result is what you suggest Rand might just do what he threatens to: leave the world to fend for itself. Take off with Min with him and spend the last days in peace?
