As to Morgase, I agree that lack of training is at least part of her problem. But even still she barely qualifies as a Channeler ... she could barely lift a scarf with air and only for seconds at a time. Seems to me any weaker than that and the ability is not really there.

Well, when under Forkroot, Egwene says she could swat a fly and it wouldn't feel it, which is orders of magnitude weaker than what Mroghase can do. Nothing says normal channelers can't be that weak. They probably never get trained though.


to channel plenty of effects while on forkroot ... like creating lights and rings etc... while splitting her flows 14 ways. Seems to me that Egwene is prone to a touch of hyperbole here ... much like when Nynaeve says things like she was so tired she couldn't "light a candle" then goes on to Heal taint insanity.
