Why're you ignoring the fact that by the middle of the night, Egwene would be forkroot free, and yet Barasine would be enough to hold her? Why ignore your own quote, where Barasine continued to hold the shield on Egwene even when Egwene had been forkroot free for days?


Not to mention Silviana doesn't allow it to happen which means she thought there was at least some risk Egwene could regain enough strength to break a shield.
