She is dead *spoilers* brett014 Send a noteboard - 02/11/2009 05:44:21 AM
Graendal is dead... the whole test Rand used to prove it was ingenious. She was known for her complex weaves of complusion which proves nearly conclusively that she was in the manor, and when she was bale-fired the complex weaves vanished from the guys brain... that is conclusive proof that she is dead, similar to the way Rand balefired Rahvin who killed Matt and Aviendha is Caemlyn.

I think it's fair to say at this point that Graendal did not kill Asmodean. - 02/11/2009 04:36:37 AM 864 Views

Dead. - 02/11/2009 06:46:10 AM 691 Views
Dead as Dumbledore. But why does it preclude her from being Asmo's killer? - 02/11/2009 07:04:08 AM 777 Views
Right. That info could easily be revealed through the POV of another. *NM* - 02/11/2009 02:15:31 PM 346 Views
It could but... - 02/11/2009 03:14:23 PM 779 Views

Alive until proven otherwise IMO *spoilers* - 02/11/2009 03:47:51 PM 767 Views
That weave was very complex. - 02/11/2009 10:34:36 PM 685 Views
Actually, the one that Rand had Nynaeve study earlier was more complex. - 04/11/2009 05:11:07 PM 771 Views
But you can't reverse Compulsion by unraveling it, right? - 18/11/2009 10:48:08 PM 710 Views
Almost certainly dead - 02/11/2009 04:48:18 PM 861 Views
Yeah. Compared to, say, Sammael's "death" - 02/11/2009 10:40:01 PM 766 Views
Not even almost. Graendal and Sammael now both go well with eggs. *NM* - 03/11/2009 01:51:15 AM 368 Views
Oh, I agree, but fiction, deus ex machina, etc - 04/11/2009 09:58:42 PM 700 Views
Graendal is dead. the evidence is pretty hard - 03/11/2009 08:00:27 PM 3028 Views
Well, unlike everyone else, - 04/11/2009 01:34:57 AM 696 Views
Alive. It's the simplest answer for me, especially considering that Rand knew she was more cunning - 04/11/2009 05:03:38 PM 859 Views
Re: Balefire. - 04/11/2009 05:30:12 PM 696 Views
Not necessarily. - 04/11/2009 06:08:34 PM 666 Views
The thing is... - 04/11/2009 06:25:43 PM 745 Views
Here's the rub - she had no desire to come into contact with Rand. - 04/11/2009 10:30:05 PM 921 Views
Hm. Possible. - 04/11/2009 06:42:12 PM 989 Views
I think it's the most simple possibility. - 04/11/2009 10:39:02 PM 700 Views
Re: I think it's the most simple possibility. - 09/11/2009 01:51:52 AM 633 Views
That's just absurd - 04/11/2009 10:48:30 PM 780 Views
No, I'm making it more simple. - 04/11/2009 11:11:36 PM 714 Views
That thoery doesn't account for the undoing of the Compulsion - 04/11/2009 11:50:06 PM 738 Views
Yes, it does. Distance causes maintained weaves and Links to attenuate. - 05/11/2009 04:22:37 PM 759 Views
Yes, but Compulsion is almost never a maintained weave *NM* - 06/11/2009 07:19:24 PM 392 Views
But the real question in my mind... - 02/12/2009 08:28:31 PM 694 Views
Well - 06/12/2009 08:45:12 PM 1136 Views
Odds are she's dead - 06/12/2009 08:48:19 PM 575 Views
