That thoery doesn't account for the undoing of the Compulsion Marshall Send a noteboard - 04/11/2009 11:50:06 PM
Graendal would have had to come up with this scenario before he sent the messenger. If she wove the Compulsion on Ramshala, then Rand's balefire is proof that he got her. We've never seen any type of weave that is undone by the presence of channeling nearby, and BS said he wouldn't introduce any new weaves into the series. Not only that, but doesn't this sound a little ridiculous to you?

I think it's fair to say at this point that Graendal did not kill Asmodean. - 02/11/2009 04:36:37 AM 967 Views

Dead. - 02/11/2009 06:46:10 AM 811 Views
Dead as Dumbledore. But why does it preclude her from being Asmo's killer? - 02/11/2009 07:04:08 AM 893 Views
Right. That info could easily be revealed through the POV of another. *NM* - 02/11/2009 02:15:31 PM 394 Views
It could but... - 02/11/2009 03:14:23 PM 889 Views

That weave was very complex. - 02/11/2009 10:34:36 PM 792 Views
Actually, the one that Rand had Nynaeve study earlier was more complex. - 04/11/2009 05:11:07 PM 870 Views
But you can't reverse Compulsion by unraveling it, right? - 18/11/2009 10:48:08 PM 819 Views
Almost certainly dead - 02/11/2009 04:48:18 PM 969 Views
Yeah. Compared to, say, Sammael's "death" - 02/11/2009 10:40:01 PM 873 Views
Not even almost. Graendal and Sammael now both go well with eggs. *NM* - 03/11/2009 01:51:15 AM 422 Views
Oh, I agree, but fiction, deus ex machina, etc - 04/11/2009 09:58:42 PM 801 Views

Well, unlike everyone else, - 04/11/2009 01:34:57 AM 802 Views
Alive. It's the simplest answer for me, especially considering that Rand knew she was more cunning - 04/11/2009 05:03:38 PM 995 Views

Hm. Possible. - 04/11/2009 06:42:12 PM 1087 Views
I think it's the most simple possibility. - 04/11/2009 10:39:02 PM 810 Views

That's just absurd - 04/11/2009 10:48:30 PM 893 Views
No, I'm making it more simple. - 04/11/2009 11:11:36 PM 836 Views
That thoery doesn't account for the undoing of the Compulsion - 04/11/2009 11:50:06 PM 839 Views
Yes, it does. Distance causes maintained weaves and Links to attenuate. - 05/11/2009 04:22:37 PM 889 Views
Yes, but Compulsion is almost never a maintained weave *NM* - 06/11/2009 07:19:24 PM 443 Views
But the real question in my mind... - 02/12/2009 08:28:31 PM 802 Views
