I've never understood the fascination with Lanfear darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 15/02/2010 05:52:27 PM
Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference between Rand and Moridin.
You really do think the Forsaken are the heroes. :P


Lanfear yes... the others... not so much. :P


Sure early in the series she seemed like she would have been a good villain, but she quickly degenerated into a whiny brat. Moghedien is more interesting as is Mesaana. They at least have "jobs" and more flushed out story lines. Lanfear's just a psycho stalker who has offered very little to drive the storyline since TSR.

Graendal took over the role of femme-fatal once Lanfear was killed off and quite frankly was much more fun to read about!

Sadly none of the men have been interesting at all, Sammael had some potential, but since he's been toast it's been rather bland.
