I'm getting more than a little pissed off at the way you two are treating the bookclub as your own personal playground.

I understand that you think the book is shit and should never have been chosen, and you're more than welcome to express those views. But please, please express those opinions in a way that's condusive to a discussion, instead of doing your best to stamp out any hope for decent dialogue.

The fact of the matter is that the choice *was* selected by popular vote, and that, for better or for worse, people *have* read it who otherwise wouldn't. I know I certainly wouldn't have read it if it hadn't been chosen. So respect that.

The admins and I are doing our best to get this site to a point where discussion is self-sustaining, and your actions in this post are directly counter-productive. And that *really* pisses me off, especially when I consider how much time and effort I've poured into this place. And given how much the both of you complained about wotmania going under, partly because of exactly the same behaviour from someone else, I'm surprised and shocked that you're carrying on the way you are.

If you don't care about RAFO anymore, then bugger off. If you do, then how about contributing to the site, instead of expecting the site to contribute to you? Start your own bookclub for all I care! Choose a book you like, make a post encouraging people to read it by a certain time, and then discuss it; it's not difficult, and everyone wins.

I'm not expecting an apology because even if you did give one you wouldn't mean it. But I'm deadly serious when I say that I won't hesitate to get the ban hammer out if I consider your actions to be damaging the site. I've invested too much in it to do otherwise.
