Anyway, while I'm not obese by any stretch of the imagination, I have gotten a bit roundier than I would have preferred. I will be dieting and exercising (bought a wii fit to get started!), and I figure that the more people I tell, the more embarrassed I'll be if I mess up. Also, I thought that if anyone else is in the midst of getting in shape, it could be fun to share stories.
While I suppose my body has a plan for some sort of ultimate shape, I am letting it do its thing for the moment, not helping or hindering.
For the record, I'm doing sort of a South Beachy plan (only good carbs, good proteins, good fats, lots of veg) and counting calories on livestrong.com. Also wiiing, obviously. Maybe playing camogie again.
I have some questions.
1. Are you currently following any kind of weight loss/fitness plan?
No.
2. If so, have you been doing this for a while?
Yes

3. How's that working for ya?
Rather well.
4. Have any advice? (If you're Tom, you don't need to tell me that I should just run and eat what I want within reason. I apparently have a special kind of chub that is impervious to this plan.

)Dark chocolate. Seriously. It should always be in a bag. If your blood sugar drops, you can eat it without feeling too bad (mainly good stuff, after all), and it stops you craving muffins, say. That is all I have. I would never tell you to run.
5. Would you like to be supported in this endeavor? I've got an excellent guilt-trip.
You can guilt me on my PhD if you like.
