It may cost the insurance plan next to nothing to add birth control. But since your insurance doesn't cover birth control you have to buy birth control at the marked up cost, the same cost you would pay without insurance.
I just will not be able to afford it without insurance because the price is too high. I am still not convinced that will not happen anyway, because Obamas healthcare "reform" virtually ignored that critical problem with US healthcare. All we have is hope economic incentives will be sufficient motivation for insurers to provide contraception for free voluntarily. We shall see....
