The ACLU was threatening lawsuits "a gay chick couldn't go with her g/f" to the prom, if the school board "caved" to the ACLU and allowed that "gay chick" to go to the prom with her girlfriend than the media circus would have gone away.
Amazingly, if they hadn't been bigoted in the first place, there wouldn't have been an issue.
