would be easily strong enough to hold any woman ... as we've seen when Nynaeve was shielded by Ispan and Falion. That in no way = Silviana being strong enough to hold Egwene alone without the Forkroot in her system!

The question is can any single AS truly shield a woman of Egwene's strength. Given the fact that Amys could not and she is stated as stronger than Melaine, who is stated as stronger than most AS it seems very unlikely that a Shield could be held on Egwene by one AS unless that AS had the Talent.

I'm certain that there is a level of skill involved with any weave, proficiency likely enhances effectiveness with almost any weave IMO ... just as strength in Fire would aid a Green creating a more potent fireball than a White who has strength in Water.
