Graendal's fate? Ashaman Narishma Send a noteboard - 02/11/2009 04:18:11 AM
Alive? Dead? What are your thoughts...

I personally believe that she survived by some weird circumstance. It seems that I had read somewhere that Brandon was supposed to answer the "who killed Asmodean" question in the final three books and seeing as how it was not answered in this one and if Graendal did kill Asmodean, who will reveal it later on. I doubt that she had cohorts in the Asmodean assassination, much less would speak about it in casual conversation with the other Chosen.

Just a couple of thoughts to chew on...

I think it's fair to say at this point that Graendal did not kill Asmodean. - 02/11/2009 04:36:37 AM 915 Views

That's pretty terrible logic - 19/11/2009 05:58:57 AM 920 Views

Dead. - 02/11/2009 06:46:10 AM 750 Views
Dead as Dumbledore. But why does it preclude her from being Asmo's killer? - 02/11/2009 07:04:08 AM 836 Views
Right. That info could easily be revealed through the POV of another. *NM* - 02/11/2009 02:15:31 PM 368 Views
It could but... - 02/11/2009 03:14:23 PM 827 Views
Moridin would most likely know. - 02/11/2009 04:06:04 PM 744 Views

Alive until proven otherwise IMO *spoilers* - 02/11/2009 03:47:51 PM 817 Views
That weave was very complex. - 02/11/2009 10:34:36 PM 734 Views
Actually, the one that Rand had Nynaeve study earlier was more complex. - 04/11/2009 05:11:07 PM 822 Views
But you can't reverse Compulsion by unraveling it, right? - 18/11/2009 10:48:08 PM 771 Views
Almost certainly dead - 02/11/2009 04:48:18 PM 910 Views
Yeah. Compared to, say, Sammael's "death" - 02/11/2009 10:40:01 PM 820 Views
Not even almost. Graendal and Sammael now both go well with eggs. *NM* - 03/11/2009 01:51:15 AM 395 Views
Oh, I agree, but fiction, deus ex machina, etc - 04/11/2009 09:58:42 PM 752 Views
Graendal is dead. the evidence is pretty hard - 03/11/2009 08:00:27 PM 3090 Views
Well, unlike everyone else, - 04/11/2009 01:34:57 AM 746 Views
Alive. It's the simplest answer for me, especially considering that Rand knew she was more cunning - 04/11/2009 05:03:38 PM 919 Views
Re: Balefire. - 04/11/2009 05:30:12 PM 749 Views
Not necessarily. - 04/11/2009 06:08:34 PM 726 Views
The thing is... - 04/11/2009 06:25:43 PM 798 Views
Here's the rub - she had no desire to come into contact with Rand. - 04/11/2009 10:30:05 PM 979 Views
Hm. Possible. - 04/11/2009 06:42:12 PM 1035 Views
I think it's the most simple possibility. - 04/11/2009 10:39:02 PM 757 Views
Re: I think it's the most simple possibility. - 09/11/2009 01:51:52 AM 683 Views
That's just absurd - 04/11/2009 10:48:30 PM 836 Views
No, I'm making it more simple. - 04/11/2009 11:11:36 PM 766 Views
That thoery doesn't account for the undoing of the Compulsion - 04/11/2009 11:50:06 PM 788 Views
Yes, it does. Distance causes maintained weaves and Links to attenuate. - 05/11/2009 04:22:37 PM 807 Views
Yes, but Compulsion is almost never a maintained weave *NM* - 06/11/2009 07:19:24 PM 418 Views
But the real question in my mind... - 02/12/2009 08:28:31 PM 748 Views
Well - 06/12/2009 08:45:12 PM 1189 Views
Odds are she's dead - 06/12/2009 08:48:19 PM 636 Views
