She is dead *spoilers* brett014 Send a noteboard - 02/11/2009 05:44:21 AM
Graendal is dead... the whole test Rand used to prove it was ingenious. She was known for her complex weaves of complusion which proves nearly conclusively that she was in the manor, and when she was bale-fired the complex weaves vanished from the guys brain... that is conclusive proof that she is dead, similar to the way Rand balefired Rahvin who killed Matt and Aviendha is Caemlyn.

I think it's fair to say at this point that Graendal did not kill Asmodean. - 02/11/2009 04:36:37 AM 969 Views

Dead. - 02/11/2009 06:46:10 AM 811 Views
Dead as Dumbledore. But why does it preclude her from being Asmo's killer? - 02/11/2009 07:04:08 AM 893 Views
Right. That info could easily be revealed through the POV of another. *NM* - 02/11/2009 02:15:31 PM 394 Views
It could but... - 02/11/2009 03:14:23 PM 890 Views

That weave was very complex. - 02/11/2009 10:34:36 PM 794 Views
Actually, the one that Rand had Nynaeve study earlier was more complex. - 04/11/2009 05:11:07 PM 872 Views
But you can't reverse Compulsion by unraveling it, right? - 18/11/2009 10:48:08 PM 821 Views
Almost certainly dead - 02/11/2009 04:48:18 PM 969 Views
Yeah. Compared to, say, Sammael's "death" - 02/11/2009 10:40:01 PM 874 Views
Not even almost. Graendal and Sammael now both go well with eggs. *NM* - 03/11/2009 01:51:15 AM 422 Views
Oh, I agree, but fiction, deus ex machina, etc - 04/11/2009 09:58:42 PM 803 Views
Graendal is dead. the evidence is pretty hard - 03/11/2009 08:00:27 PM 3142 Views
Well, unlike everyone else, - 04/11/2009 01:34:57 AM 802 Views
Alive. It's the simplest answer for me, especially considering that Rand knew she was more cunning - 04/11/2009 05:03:38 PM 995 Views
Re: Balefire. - 04/11/2009 05:30:12 PM 821 Views
Not necessarily. - 04/11/2009 06:08:34 PM 784 Views
The thing is... - 04/11/2009 06:25:43 PM 857 Views
Here's the rub - she had no desire to come into contact with Rand. - 04/11/2009 10:30:05 PM 1047 Views
Hm. Possible. - 04/11/2009 06:42:12 PM 1089 Views
I think it's the most simple possibility. - 04/11/2009 10:39:02 PM 812 Views
Re: I think it's the most simple possibility. - 09/11/2009 01:51:52 AM 749 Views
That's just absurd - 04/11/2009 10:48:30 PM 893 Views
No, I'm making it more simple. - 04/11/2009 11:11:36 PM 838 Views
That thoery doesn't account for the undoing of the Compulsion - 04/11/2009 11:50:06 PM 840 Views
Yes, it does. Distance causes maintained weaves and Links to attenuate. - 05/11/2009 04:22:37 PM 891 Views
Yes, but Compulsion is almost never a maintained weave *NM* - 06/11/2009 07:19:24 PM 443 Views
But the real question in my mind... - 02/12/2009 08:28:31 PM 804 Views
